Freemium Game Real Racing 3 Now Available in the App Store

If you’re an iOS gamer, then you know all about the Real Racing series by EA. Real Racing has just about the highest quality graphics of any racing game on the iOS platform. For a mobile device, at least, the graphics are just insane.

Real Racing 3, the latest version of the game, is available in the App Store for free as a freemium game. This means the game is being offered for free, but there are tons of in-app upgrades that will cost you actual money if you want to unlock the upgrades faster than the game is willing to let you unlock them naturally.

Real Racing 3 doesn't slouch on graphics. If you've tried it, you probably understand why we say that Real Racing 3 probably has some of the best graphics out of any game on the iOS App Store. The game comes with 45 different cars from companies like Porsche, Lamborghini, Dodge, Bugatti, and Audi. The tracks are real tracks as well. The game also includes the anticipated Time Shifted Multi-player mode

California dreaming - the mamas & the papas

Are you simply tired of hearing nowday's music ,nowday's music pretty much sucks .perhaps you want to listen some good music . the problem is where to start. being on the inside when it comes classic rock music you should listen to the mamas & the papas

the mamas & the papaswere an American/Canadian vocal group (Denny Doherty was from Canada) who came to prominence in the 1960s. The group recorded and performed from 1965 to 1968 with a short reunion in 1971, releasing six albums and 11 Top 40 hit singles. They have sold nearly 40 million records worldwide.

Their signature sound was based on four-part male/female vocal harmonies arranged by John Phillips, the band's songwriter, who managed to "leave the folk music behind] and blend his writing with the new "beat" sound in an unprecedented mode.
the second single, "California Dreamin'", was released later in 1965 and quickly peaked at number 4 in the US, while in the UK, it peaked at number 23. The band's debut album, If You Can Believe Your Eyes and Ears, was released in early 1966 and became the band's only number 1 album on the Billboard 200

mama -An Unforgettable Experience Brought By Muschietti, Del Toro and Chastain !

director-andres muschietti
cast-jessica chastain ,nikolaj coster waldau
genre-horro
my rating-10/10

I really liked this movie and the concept for it was original. I think this film makes the viewer think about what the characteristics are of being a mother. What sort of instincts we as woman can display and what kind of connections can be made with a child, even if you're a terrifying ghost.

Del Toro will always put his name on a good thriller surrounding small children. This movie had all the thrills of a scary movie and the elements fright used in the film had everyone in my theater on the edge of the seat. The movie waist no time getting into the meat of the story.

There are flaws in the film and it does have to do with plot holes. The director could have worked these holes out with other writers......like Del Toro perhaps. The back story had the hugest gap of all.

Regardless, it was better than 'Don't be Afraid of the Dark', and I will be seeing this film again.

warm bodies -Zombie Love Like You've Never Seen

direcotor-jonathan levine
cast-nicholas hoult , teresa palmar
genre-comedy , horror , romance
my rating - 10/10

Going into Jonathan Levine's (50/50, The Wackness) new film Warm Bodies, I was intrigued. I didn't know quite what I was going to get as the concept was fresh and unique.

Zombies have taken over, yet one zombie, named R, played wonderfully by Nicholas Hoult has a mind of his own and is not your typical zombie. He has a conscious mind at work, and soon he falls for a pretty girl named Julie (Teresa Palmer) that he encounters.

This is where the movie puts a twist on the whole zombie genre. He soon becomes enamored by her and becomes more human, as she has stimulated his heart. Can a zombie find solace with another person and...love? That is the main theme of this movie, and it's a damn good one.

Their chemistry will draw you in and actually make you buy it, no matter how ridiculous it is. R's friend, M, played hilariously by Rob Corddry steals the show with funny scene after funny scene.

With Warm Bodies you get a mix of comedy, romance, and zombie-horror. It's a fresh spin on all three, and it was truly a fun time at the theater. It's well paced and has a great feel to it from the get-go, mostly in part to wonderful narration from Holt, and smooth direction from Levine.

It's only February but I already found one of my early favorites of 2013.

side effects-Being Fooled is Part of the Fun

director -steven soderbergh
cast-rooney mara , channing tatum , jude law
genre-crime ,drama , thriller
my rating- 9.5/10

I read an article that said that, with Side Effects, Steven Soderbergh wanted to return to the old suspense classics like Jagged Edge and much of Hitchcock, psychological twisters that aren't made much anymore.

I suspect that's because today people expect vampires, car chases or buckets of blood to justify the price of a ticket. Well, I too remember those old classics and I loved them. Side Effects is a worthy addition but be warned that it's a thinking person's movie not a chainsaw caper.

I'm surprised that so many people mention the twists and turns. Yes, there are some but not that many and they're what makes it all so fascinating. You think you know what's happening -- but you don't! What I especially enjoyed was the gamesmanship the different characters displayed. It's like a chess match with three people and more to kibitz.

And yet as we travel through the story, the surprising bits do make sense and we wonder why we didn't think of those things before. We're deep into the heart of mental illness and psychopathology. Almost every character has secrets or hidden motives they would not like to see the light of day. Although the main character seems at first to be the troubled young wife, it becomes clear that it is Jude Law's character as the shrink who is struggling to find the truth and do the right thing.

Just when you think everything that can go wrong for him has, the tide begins to turn and it's Oh My Gosh. Just like a Hitchcock film, you have a guy to root for and wonder how he will ever work his way though. I expected a different -- more startling -- ending, but there is the promise (perhaps?) of more horror to come.

Yes, let's definitely have a sequel!

dark skies -Decent for Hollywood Horror.

direcotor -scott stewart
cast-keri russell , josh hamilton
genre-horror , sci-fi , thriller
my rating- 7.5/10

Not knowing exactly what we were in for, having seen only a trailer or two, we were very pleasantly surprised. The last "alien" movie we went to was "Signs", which really soured our opinion of these types of movies. We are interested in the phenomenon and this movie actually handled the subject quite well. For those of us with an interest in the field, it was very believable and it was written well. The pace of the movie made it seem over too quickly - I was ready for more! I left the theater feeling pretty stressed, partly because of the suspense and partly because the characters made their struggle so believable. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone with an open mind. My husband is a much better film critic than I, and he really liked it too, which is interesting because he is typically drawn to movies with a fantasy component or a lot of computer-generated scenes. Again, having an interest in the phenomenon ourselves, this movie made it very real for us.

safe heaven -good entertainment, but certainly a chick flick,

director-lasse hallstorm
cast-julianne hough , josh duhamel , cobie smulders
genre--drama , mystery , romance , thriller
my rating-5.8/10

OK, lets start off with the only negative of this movie, It is very very slow moving movie. Now the positives, I understand the need to build the storyline and build the relationship which nearly took the whole movie, but a love story is always slow to build to a point where it is believable. This movie had everything, and I have to say that the ending makes this entire 2 hour movie worthwhile. As the movie progresses you get small hints of things and they never really sink in until the ending when you realize "Why did I not see that" This movie had me with tears in my eyes which of course being a male, I can never tell my friends about! When you go to this movie, be prepared to be a tad bored for most of the movie, but it will all come together and provide you some great emotions as well as a fantastic ending that you may never see coming. The only reason did not give this movie a higher rating was due to the long road it takes to build the movie up for the ending.

snitch -An interesting departure for "The Rock."

Director-Ric roman wough
cast -Dwayne JohnsonSusan Sarandon
genre-action , drama , thriller
my rating - 8/10

This movie marks the departure of Dwayne Johnson from action actor to dramatic actor and the transformation works. Johnson demonstrates a surprising aptitude for dramatic acting as his character struggles with a number of distressing issues. The problem with the movie is the story. It's premise is implausible. The main character's son is busted on drug charges and he is in fact guilty, which makes him a far less sympathetic character. Nevertheless, that doesn't stop his father, played by Johnson, from coming to his son's assistance, albeit as unbelievable as it, and the entire movie hinges on the audience having to believe that the son is a victim, which he is not. If a movie needs a victim, then the victim should in fact be a victim. Another interesting character is the drug dealer played by Benjamin Bratt who plays the role effectively. Susan Sarandon and Barry Pepper also provide excellent performances as an ambitious DA and an undercover vice police officer respectively. Despite the flaws in the story, this is still a good movie and one that is worth watching.

LG launching Galaxy S3 rival Optimus G @ Rs 34,500

LG is all set to launch its erstwhile flagship smartphone Optimus G in India at an event in Mumbai on February 27. This device is pitted against the current market leaderSamsung Galaxy S III and is the basis for the highly popular Google Nexus 4. India will be among the first countries outside the US, Canada, Japan and South Korea, as the device is yet to hit Europe as well as other major markets. The phone is available on online retail sites in the country at Rs 30,990 even before its launch.

The LG Optimus G comes with a 4.7-inch True HD IPS touch-screen that supports resolution of 1280x768p and 318ppi pixel density. This smartphone runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and packs a 1.5GHz quad-core processor under the hood, supported by 2GB RAM. It has 32GB in-built memory and does not support microSD expansion.

A highlight of LG Optimus G is its 13MP rear camera with LED flash, since most rivals (including Galaxy S III) come with an 8MP sensor. On the front panel of LG's new phone in India is a 1.3MP unit. Connectivity features in the device include 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0. It is powered by a 2,100mAh battery and comes with Dolby mobile sound enhancement technology.

LG in January announced that the sales of Optimus G clocked 1 million units within four months of launch in just four markets. It recently said it aims to increase smartphone shipments in 2013 by 52% and attain sales of 40 million units this year.

Despite the new launch, LG will find its presence lacking in the top rung as new smartphones that boast of better features and are priced higher have already hit India. While Nokia and HTC rolled out their top-of-the-line smartphones Lumia 920 and Butterfly in India in January, BlackBerryannounced the launch of its Z10 earlier this week. Sources say that Sony is also gearing up to launch its flagship Xperia Z in the country next week at a price of approximately Rs 45,000. In this space, Apple and Samsung have previously launched leading devices like iPhone 5 and Galaxy Not II, respectively. LG's new flagship smartphone, Optimus G Pro, has been officially announced in South Korea but there is no word on its arrival in India.

BlackBerry Z10 review: Good, but pricey proposition

blackberry has launched its first BB10-powered smartphone Z10 in India at a hefty price of Rs 43,490. It offers a refreshing new look at the smartphone interface, powerful integration between hardware and software and BlackBerry's famed corporate, data encryption and security features. BlackBerry Z10 is more than just another smartphone - it is widely deemed to be the manufacturer's last-ditch effort at salvaging its lost market share and reputation in recent years.

Hardware-
BlackBerry Z10 is the company's flagship smartphone and certainly looks the part. In terms of appearance, it looks quite similar to Apple iPhone 5 from the side and HTC One, what with its rounded edges and thin profile. We tried the elegant-looking black coloured model (the device is also available in white).

multimedia-
The 8MP camera of BlackBerry Z10 was a big letdown for us and did worse than that of even mid-range smartphones available nowadays, and we are not even taking Nokia's Lumia series, iPhone 5 or Sony Xperia Z into consideration. The images in lowlight conditions were grainy and even in daylight, its photo quality could not measure up to that of rivals. The camera app in itself is quite basic and does not offer much to the user and video quality is also below par for a device priced as high as Rs 43,490.

The video and music player apps of Z10 are also free of any bells and whistles and do the job, but just so. So you do not have too many functionalities like pulling lyrics for songs off the internet or changing the aspect ratio of the video. We were, however, quite happy with the audio output of the smartphone and were happy to listen to some peppy music on it, though songs with heavy bass did not play so well.

overall performance-
The all-new BlackBerry Z10 did quite well in our review, barring a few glitches like camera and Maps (which are actually quite important in today's smartphone race). The device performed without any lag and using the keyboard was a treat. The learning curve for the new operating system was very small and even new users are likely to become adept at it within a short period. The new interface is refreshing and brings subtle changes to the table, something that pleased us quite a lot, instead of posing a problem. Call quality was decent and transferring data was smooth and fast.

Bored With Those Wallpaper Images? It's Time to Try LivePapers

LivePapers promises to be battery efficient and powerful. It uses OpenGL ES, which the developer says will provide smooth animations and increased performance on iOS devices. After 40 seconds of inactivity, the animations will freeze to even further save battery. You can resume the animation by simply swiping to a different page on your home screen.

'ActiveDock' Now Available for Download in Cydia

ActiveDock actually changes the appearance of the dock in iOS to match the frosted glass appearance of the application dock in OS X Mountain Lion. In addition, the application icon reflections have also been changed to mimic that of the application dock in OS X Mountain Lion. Apart from mere appearance, ActiveDock does much more.

ActiveDock will actually display an OS X Mountain Lion-styled light bar under the applications on the dock that are open in the App Switcher. If you close an application from the App Switcher, the light-bar will go away. What’s more is applications will bounce when launched, similarly to how they do in Mac OS X. The bouncing animation also applies to when you receive notifications from one of the applications in your application dock. You can choose settings for how often the bouncing occurs.

ActiveDock is a neat little tweak for those of you that enjoy those simple little details of iOS customization that make using your device a pleasure to use. If you’re interested in grabbing ActiveDock, you will find it in the Bigboss repository for $1.99. In case you were wondering, it's compatible with all iPhones, iPod touches and iPads running iOS 6

Samsung: Galaxy S IV Coming March 14th

On Monday morning in Barcelona at the start of Mobile World Congress 2013, Samsung confirmed that it's eagerly anticipated Galaxy S IV will be formally unveiled next month, as the rumor mill expected.

The most hyped smartphone in Samsung history will have a press event in its honor to herald its debut on March 14th. As of this writing, however, it isn't known what the actual release date of the device will be.

“We introduced the Galaxy S III in London last year, and this time we changed the venue (to New York)… as we were bombarded with requests from U.S. mobile carriers to unveil the Galaxy S IV in the country,” Samsung Electronics’ mobile division chief JK Shin said this morning

Although speculation abounds as to the features packed into Samsung's next smartphone, the new Galaxy S model “is expected to feature a higher-resolution display and camera than its predecessor, as well as a faster quad-core processor."

Change Folder Icons to Show 2x2 Application Grids With '2x2 Folder Icons'

Most of you are probably familiar with graphic designer Surenix’s popular WinterBoard theme called ayecon. The theme comes with a built-in tweak that lets the user choose between having the stock folder grid appearance, or switching to 2x2 grids.

Surenix has released a standalone jailbreak tweak called 2x2 Folder Icons in Cydia that will allow users to have this same 2x2 folder grid effect on devices without the ayecon WinterBoard theme. As shown above, the 3 columns and 3 rows (default) of folder icons have been changed to 2 columns and 2 rows after the tweak was installed and enabled.

After installing the tweak, you will be able to head over to the Settings application and visit the preferences pane for the tweak. From the preferences pane, you will be able to enable and disable the tweak on demand. Each time you change a setting, you’ll have to respring the device – luckily, the tweak comes with a hand little respring button

Angry Birds Toons Animated Series Coming Mid-March

Rovio had just finished up releasing their Angry Birds Star Wars game back in November. Rovio is also responsible for many other Angry Birds games in the App Store, such as Space, Rio, and Seasons, as well as the original Angry Birds. The Angry Birds Series has proven to be a very profitable asset for Rovio, so, why stop there?

Nowadays when you walk into Walmart, or some other large store, you will often see things like Angry Birds action figures, Angry Birds stuffed figures, even Angry Birds underwear. Rovio has been monetizing the productivity-killing game into more than just a game, but a way of life.

Rovio has posted on their blog Tuesday morning that Angry Birds will soon dominate the world of cartoons as well. Beginning March 16-17, Angry Birds Toons, a new animated series, will become a reality:

MLB Announces 13 New Locations for Digital Ticketing via Apple’s Passbook

Major League Baseball recently announced that it will be adding nine new locations to the roster of ballparks that accept digital tickets stored and presented through Apple’s Passbook iOS app. It appears that MLB is following the overall push toward digital as digital ticketing services like those that were supported by passbook move further mainstream.

The 2013 season will see the Baltimore Orioles, Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers, Milwaukee Brewers, Minnesota Twins, Oakland Athletics and Pittsburgh Pirates join the San Francisco Giants, New York Mets, Boston Red Sox and Kansas City Royals in supporting Passbook tickets. As of right now, three more teams have signed on but aren’t ready to make an official announcement according to the MLB.

Adobe Launches Mobile Phone Version of Photoshop Touch

o
almost exaclty one year ago ,adobe launched adobe photoshop tocuh for the ipad.the application included just enough core features to get by on a mobile device, it certainly was not a serious replacement for the full blown desktop version of adobe photoshop.

it will require iphone4s , iphone 5 or ipod touch 5G.

The mobile phone version of Adobe Photoshop Touch will support layers, selection tools, adjustments, and filters. Users can also add graphical text, strokes, drop shadows, fades, and much more. Many of these features are not available in most of the Photoshop wannabes for iOS out there.

So what will Adobe Photoshop Touch cost you? If you remember correctly, the iPad version of the app is $9.99. Luckily, the iPhone and iPod touch version is just half of that price, only $4.99

Grafiti 2.0 Released With New Interface, More App Support, Additional Features

Seven months ago, we showed you a great jailbreak tweak called grafti by iOS developer ian pappers, which allowed you to draw pictures that you could send with your text messages in the messages application similarly to the Picto-chat feature on the Nintendo DS. It worked with both SMS and iMessage.

Grafiti has received a major update to version 2.0, which includes a complete interface redesign, which looks like it was for the better, and many more features. Above, you can see the new interface, which looks much more professionally done compared to the old version

The drawing interface looks like it belongs in iOS, and the blank page says, “start drawing here…” where you can draw your picture. The drawing interface is brought up when the user selects the international keyboard key from the keyboard. The new color picker is much easier to work with than the previous RGB sliders, and the undo and redo buttons look better too. The check button will compile your drawing into a picture that can be sent to the recipient.

Apart from the redesigned interface, version 2 of Grafiti also adds support for the ipad, and adds support for other applications, such as Facebook, Facebook Messenger, and Twitter on top of the already-supported Messages application:
In addition, an issue with the fixed brush size not saving has been fixed, and Grafiti no longer requires you to have more than one keyboard enabled from the keyboard preferences in the Settings application.

Grafiti 2.0 is a MAJOR improvement over the initial version, and if you’re looking for tweaks to load onto your fresh iphone 5 jailbreak, then Grafiti is a tweak to check out! Grafiti requires iOS 5 or later and is available in the BigBoss repository right now

beautiful creatures - the new twilight ?

director -richard lagravenese
cast -emmy rossum  alice englert , emma thompson
genre- drama ,fantasy , romance
my rating - 7.6/10

Unlike the other reviews I actually liked this movie. I didn't go into the cinema thinking I would like it either. The storyline is good, quite in depth for a fantasy 12A rated movie. The special effects are great, especially towards to end. The cast are decent, some giving of great performances, Alice Englert is an example.

Yes the story is 'corny' at times and it does kind of remind me of a Twilight movie, but it worked and in a way mixed the fantasy genre with a Rom Com style. I've heard the book has lots more characters and a better ending, and I honestly don't know how they will turn this into a sequel (if they do) but for me it was good.

A good day to die hard is a good reason to stay home

Director- john moore

cast - bruce wills courtney , sebastian koch
genre -action , drama , thriller
my rating - 5/10

First off, I am a huge fan of the three first films, the fourth film was alright, but it didn't feel like a Die Hard movie, sadly, this one doesn't either.

A Good Day To Die Hard is a huge mess. No good plot, bad cgi, rushed scenes etc. Only thing I found good was the action. An R rating didn't help this one at all. It almost seems like they tried to make this PG-13 at first, but then changed it to R later because fans were complaining about Live Free or Die Hard's (Aka Die Hard 4.0)'s rating. The movie has PG-13 / 12A violence, and this is disappointing. John Moore could of done so much more with this film, but instead, he messes it up just like he did with Max Payne. Good action, but no good story or character development.

Jai Courtney (who starred in Jack Reacher earlier this year) did well on his part, and I do hope he returns if they are making a 6th one, but I am begging, please get a good director for the 6th one, since Bruce says it will possibly be the last one. Bring McTiernan back, and let him end the series with a huge bang! I am sorry to say this, but the film was not good at all. Being an hard-core Die Hard fan, I suggest that other fans should just let this one pass.

Dropbox for iOS update adds a PDF viewer and file share notifications

Earlier today, dropbox rolled out version 2.1 of its ios app with a trio of enhancements in tow. The update, which requires iOS 5.0 or higher introduces a new PDF viewer, file sorting by date modified, and push notifications for when someone shares a folder with you (which were also recently added to the Android client). Whether you're a Dropbox power user or the casual type, this new software bump should definitely come in handy.

Microsoft confirms Office 2013 licenses can't be transferred to other computers

It's no secret that copies of office 13 bind themselves to a single computer, but Microsoft has now confirmed to Computerworld that the software's license can't be reassigned to another PC, as is possible with Office 2010. When asked whether a license could be transferred to another machine if the original rig was destroyed, lost or stolen, Microsoft replied with a frosty, "No comment." However, Redmond did mention that the productivity suite could be reinstalled on the same PC after a crash. Just how Ballmer and Co. will enforce the policy remains a bit murky, but it's pretty clear they hope folks who have a penchant for switching up computing environments will be enticed by an office 365 subscription.
