I for one am not a big Halle Berry fan however being a fan of suspense and serial killer type movies I had to see "The Caller" the previews looked good, and a nice treat of eye candy is provided with a now grown up and mature Abigail Breslin. The film has plenty of drama and suspense blended in with action and terror to get a viewer's blood pumping. The story is set around Los Angeles, California and Jordan Turner(Halle Berry)is a veteran 911 operator who's burned out from the day to day calls. Only when she receives a call of abduction that blows up in her ears and later a gruesome sight to her face, the real cat and mouse games begin. On the loose around the city of angels is a serial killer who preys on abducting young girls mostly from strip shopping malls. The film takes a real turning point when young Casey(in a sexy and strong mature performance from Abigail Breslin)is abducted from a mall and put in the back of a car trunk! Then after the 911 call the film turns into a hot chase and suspense travel drama! This psycho type abductor killer is sick and twisted with erotic games as the plan for Casey is gruesome. One treat was some nice eye candy from the now grown up Abigail who looked hot for several minutes in that sexy dark blue flowered bra! Overall okay thriller that entertains which blended with elements of fear and drama worth a watch for any suspense fan.
